Andrew Manze takes the NDR Radiophilharmonie to China

This November, Andrew Manze and the NDR Radiophilharmonie embark on a tour to China — the first time that the orchestra has been to East Asia since its successful tour in 2016.

During their trip they will perform at a number of concert halls including the Gansu Grand Theatre, Lanzhou; Shanghai Grand Theatre; Harbin Grand Theatre; Langfang Silk Road International Culture Exchange Center; Tianjin Grand Theatre; and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing; from 11-25 November.

They will present a programme of Beethoven Fidelio Overture and Symphony No. 6 with either Mozart Clarinet Concerto with Martin Fröst or Brahms Violin Concerto with Mengla Huang, depending on the venue.
